Hi!
How long did you take to make it? It’s very cool.
Cheers.
Thanx for your question, Nelson.
It didn’t take a long time. Modeling and texturing was around one hour, rendering took 3 hours. Some minor tweaks in Photoshop and that’s it.
Actually this is a simple render compared to the other „microscopic“ images like this one here: http://spacelollipoparts.com/portfolio/microarts-escherichia-coli/
I have another question, where do you get inspiration to do things like this?
Cheers!
From the real life. This artwork is based on a real electron microscope image from a spore. In this case I just wanted to recreate it in 3D.
I mean, why this? why not a silica crystal for example? I try to say that is beautiful, but for me it’s not very common see this type of work. Just me strikes the choice 🙂
Cheers
Well, I studied biotechnology. Therefore, I already know these kind of biological stuff.
Regards
It answers many questions … hahaha
Thanks in advance.
Cheers from „La Patagonia“.
Hi Thomas.I really like this picture (rendering). I’m an amateur music hobbyist and would like to use this image on my latest track. It will be posted on Soundcloud. I will of course add a comment recognising your kind permission to use it, if you are ok for me to do so. If not, then absolutely no problem. Kind regards, Roger Huxley
Hi Roger.
It’s Ok when you mention and link back to me!
Cheers,
Thomas
